One of the Zeppelin Museum’s major tasks consists in carrying out historic research on all aspects of the fascinating, multi-facetted history and technology of airship aviation. The results of the research carried out by museum staff members as well as external academic experts are presented to the public at regular intervals through temporary exhibitions and publications. The Zeppelin Department, the LZ Archive and the library are used by people from all over the world who study or work on different technological and historical aspects of airship aviation and related themes of industrial technology.
