Relationship status: unclear. Art and literature at Lake Constance

No matter if Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, Hermann Hesse and Hans Purrmann, Martin Walser and André Ficus or Henry van de Velde and René Schickele, many artists and authors that lived at Lake Constance had close connections with each other: personal friendships, joint projects and portraits in the respective art forms. The interdisciplinary exhibition looks at Lake Constance as a place for creative achievement and highlights the mutual relationship between literature and art. The visitors are very welcome to sit, read and look.
