Art detective: guided tour for secondary schools
The dialogical and interactive tour through the permanent exhibition The obligation of ownership. An art collection under scrutiny, introduces the topic of provenance and the museum collection in an age-appropriate way. Pupils can slip into the role of the museum director and solve a provenance case. The pupils then explore the exhibition. In small groups, they each work on one or two works with the help of a museum guide. This gives the pupils another opportunity to engage with the works on their own and recognize them: What is provenance research and why is it so important?
