The obligation of ownership. An art collection under scrutiny
What is looted art? The Zeppelin Museum addresses this controversial question in its exhibition The obligation of ownership. An art collection under scrutiny. The guided tour explores the stories behind the works of art and reveals their backs and hidden information: where do the Gothic sculptures, Baroque paintings and masterpieces of classical modernism come from? Interested visitors embark on a journey through the past of the Zeppelin Museum's art collection and immerse themselves in collector and dealer networks around Lake Constance.
